Description: Custom iPod Classic 7th Generation - Deep Purple Optional Taptic Mod This is a custom iPod Classic 7th Generation in a deep purple colorway. It comes with an optional taptic mod. Details: You get to choose the amount of storage included in your iPod. /li> The internal speaker has been removed and replaced with an iPhone's Taptic Engine. This provides haptic/vibrational feedback in place of the clicking sound that the iPod normally would make. It is a subtle, barely audible way of providing feedback. It doesn't feel like an aftermarket addon, it feels like something that was always there. I've had multiple compliments from people who have purchased my restorations that include this. The aging hard drive was replaced with microSD cards in the storage amount of your choosing. This will either be an iFlash adapter or a dual microSD adapter depending on the size. By default I format these for Windows/PC use, but am more than happy to format them for apple products if you use Macs. This currently uses a thin back case due to on hand stock, but will be available with either a thick or thin case in the near future, with thick being the default.
