Description: This box is the US Cartridge Co. .45 Colt which dates to the mid to late 1880's. It is, of course empty, with the side wrappers sealed. However, you can cut the wrappers and open it for display if you'd prefer.All of the boxes I've recreated all date to the 1880's and are what collectors now, for obvious reasons, refer to as "picture boxes." These are not photocopies or printed from pictures I've Googled. These are high resolution, digital recreations. I have included a picture of an original box for comparison.
