It is used, but it is in excellent condition.The hat base is approximately 8.5-inches from front to back, and 8-inches from side to side. Pillbox band is approximately 3-inches tall. Front of hat has several red roses and rosebuds, plus two purple roses and some purple rosebuds. There are short (approximately 6-inches long) red and purple Ostrich feathers that lay across the top of the hat. It appears some kind of white foam sizing has been added on the underside of the sweatband on the inside. Tag inside says "Red Hat Society officially licensed product...Handmade by SCALA. 100% wool. Made in China."Hat will be shipped in a box to protect it during shipment.This is the only pillbox hat we have. Buy it now before it's gone. This hat is light weight and very elegant.
