Rebuild Service for YOUR SET of Three 1953 & 1954 Corvette Carter YH Carburetors

Description: Please read the next three sentences before buying this auction. This is a Premium REBUILD SERVICE for YOUR set of three Carter YH Side Draft Carburetors by Wolf Enterprises. I will re-build all three for one price, not eaches! If you DO NOT already have these carburetors, DO NOT BUY the auction. Please do not pay for the auction until you are ready to ship your carburetors within a day or two. If you need carburetors, I have a separate auction for that. This is for your three 1953-1954 Corvette (body# 0-897) Blue Flame Six carbs. They are rebuilt by the best and largest Corvette, marine, Nash, and Corvair YH carburetor rebuilder in the world. The best available new gaskets, seals, spring-loaded viton inlet seat/needle, pump springs, and Buna accelerator pumps are used to bring them to better than new condition and make them ethanol-resistant. You get a new correct size main metering jet and polished stainless steel or brass (your choice) fasteners for the bowl cover and choke support as well as a new mixture needle and idle adjustment screw. Each carb is bench-tested and set to factory specifications. The shipping time of 15 days is only a swag, as I don't know how long it will take you to ship your carb to me. It will, however, only take a week to get them back in the mail once it arrives. I rebuild about 50 of these particular carbs each year (and I really did help with a book written on how to rebuild them - and all of the examples and pictures in it are my carbs), so you can be confident that it will be right. Many carbs out there still have a "factory flaw" that was typical of poor quality control at the time they were manufactured, so I check for and correct the problem that causes fuel to drip into the carb at idle and after shut down. But there is often a problem with pressure buildup in some applications that can only be resolved with a pressure regulator. The auction photos are actual customer carbs. I can replace any missing parts that are included in rebuild kits, but not missing hardware at this price. (I have some, but check first).
