Description: This rare vintage Royal Kent bone china tea pot is a stunning piece of art pottery that will add a touch of elegance to any tea time. The pot was made in Staffordshire England, circa 1950's. On pure white china, the pot is decorated with pink roses and dainty wildflowers in blue and yellow with green foliage. The top scalloped edge of the pot, lid knob and handle are hand painted in gold trim. The pot measures 6 1/4" tall with the lid on. It is 8 3/4" long from the handle to the spout and 5" in diameter. It has a capacity of 4 cups. The lid has a tab to allow you to pour without the lid falling off. Inside the pot is a built-in strainer at the bottom of the spout. The backstamp on the bottom has the Royal Kent name, image logo, and "Made in Staffordshire England". The Royal Kent company was sold to Royal Doulton and has subsequently been sold to Royal Albert. Made with quality craftmanship this beautiful tea pot is an elegant way for serving tea to your guests. The pot is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. There is a small dent on the bottom edge that was a manufacturing flaw as it has glaze over it. There is a dark stain spout in the bottom of the pot. (Please see last 2 photos for these issues).
