Description: RARE Vintage Handcarved Soapstone First Nations Inuit Style Seal Box THORN ARTS - Label on Base A rare vintage handcarved soapstone box by Thorn Arts of Canada inspired by Inuit art carvings of the Pacific Northwest. The box is circular in shape with a pair seals resting on a rock shore. The bottom of the box is an extension of the rocky shore. The soapstone is a dark mottled greenish grey. There is a foil label on the bottom. Would make a wonderful addition to any West Coast or Pacific Northwest Coast decorative collection or decor.
