Description: Very Rare double sided Pensacola Florida tavern bar Trader Jon’s single vintage XL T-shirt. Trader Jon's was a bar in downtown Pensacola that closed in 1998. It was a popular destination for officers and aviators stationed at Naval Air Station Pensacola. The bar was opened by Martin “Trader Jon” Weissman in 1953 and the building itself dates to 1857. Trader Jon's was the basis of the fictional club "TJ's" in the 1982 film An Officer and a Gentleman, which was inspired by the Officer Candidate School at NAS Pensacola. Celebrities like John Wayne, Elizabeth Taylor & Bob Hope were known to visit the Bar and was name a historic site by the state of Florida in 1992.
