Rare SunStar 1:18 1981 DeLorean LK Vintage Has Damage See Pics Read Description

Description: This is a very cool looking car, one which was not made for long in real life (it was made from 1981 until 1983). It is a DeLorean LK (I think that was how the concept car was called, which later become known as the DMC) in 1:18 scale size by the brand Sun Star. It features a stainless steel colored exterior with a gray louver on the back, as well as black/gray bumpers and much detail from the front to the rear, and from the top of the car to the chassis below. It also features the famous gull wing doors with a blue/gray interior that is also highly detailed — all products by Sun Star are usually very detailed to perfection —. The gearstick is gray as is the emergency brake, and the instrument panel behind the steering wheel is very realistic. At the back under the louver and under the floor below that is the engine, which again is not short on detail. This is a very cool and simplistic but unique looking ride, and would be a perfect addition for any collection. However it does have a couple of flaws, the biggest one involves the left-front tire. It is broken, which means that the car currently only has three of the four tires rolling and the fourth is stored in the trunk compartment at the front of the car. It also has no exterior rear-view mirrors, no original box and there might be a couple of scuff marks on the body. The tire may be the biggest flaw that I sadly have to talk over — it’s been that way since I bought it second hand years ago —, but it can definitely be repaired if you know how to do so or in any case this could be a neat parts car since almost everything else is there. It also seems to not have windshield wipers, though I’m not sure if they broke off too or if they simply were hidden away like with some cars. It may not be perfect and the flaws certainly are disappointing, but this car still has a lot of potential and even in this condition it would be a neat addition to any collection. I had it on display with the broken tire in place and it looked just fine, but again with the correct tools and knowledge I’m sure it can be repaired and at the absolute worst it can be used for parts.
