Description: ~ An Antique Staffordshire Pearlware Dark Blue Transferware Dinner Plate circa 1820 ~ ~ “Durham Ox” Pattern by Unknown Potter ~ ~ ~*~ 10” in diameter A beautiful Staffordshire plate printed with famous “Durham Ox” pattern after a print by J. Whessell with a border of stylized flowers and foliate scrolls. A very fine transfer printing I bought a long time ago from Dora Landey. ~ In superb condition without any damage seen or felt and glossy pearlware glaze with no signs of crazing. To be very very picky there are two thin transfer skips in the sky which are not scratches. Please see all the photos and close up photos to add to the condition report. ~Thanks for Looking! No Reserve! Please see the other English pottery / porcelain / Historical Staffordshire / soft paste / pearlware / creamware I have listed
