What does not work on this listing:The battery compartment was at some point compromised and prevents the light up eyes, the sounds, and the automatic retraction from working. What does work:The critter will still jump when touched because this is a spring mechanism that requires no battery power. He will then have to be manually reset. This may be a nice project for someone who wants to try and repair the battery compartment to power the device. Mechanically, the device is working, however electronically it does not in it's current state.
