Rare Late 19th Century Folk Art Painted Cast Iron Angel Doorbell

Description: A truly rare 19th century American folk art enamel painted figural cast iron winged, leaping angel. The figure is attached to an iron plate which can be secured to a door or wall. Below the angel is a cast bell with the original clapper and when rung emits a wonderful ring. This item is fresh from an old home in Manchester, New York. The paint is in black and gold and is completely original. It measures 20" with rope x 13 1/4" (without rope) x 6" deep. It weighs 4lbs. 8 oz. Very unique and would look great in any home, modern or antique.
