RARE HP BLACKBIRD 002 ORIGINAL Razer Tarantula Gaming Keyboard USB Wired 1-OWNER

Description: Ultra-rare, original vintage HP Blackbird 002 VooDoo Razer Tarantula gaming keyboard, circa 2008. Collectors item. We're the original and only adult owner from new, the entire system purchased from Micro Center in St. David's, PA. It was $3,300 at the time. Legend has it only 500 of these systems were ever made as a result of the collaboration between HP and VooDoo computers of Canada, making a functional setup quite a rare find now, 16 years later. Most of these have long ago gone to the landfill or been gamed to death. We still own the computer (see images), and even the original box/packing materials which is NOT being sold or included in this listing. This keyboard has Red LED illumination and a glowing icon on the palmrest which ebbs and flows in visual intensity while in use -- really cool! This has never been used for gaming! The system was purchased simply because the huge, all-aluminum, 75lb. Blackbird was the coolest thing we'd ever seen and absolutely had to have it! Light use only (e-mail, web surfing, photos, etc.), some keys do show a bit of wear from age as you might expect, but overall this Razer is very presentable. The photos shown were just taken so purchase with confidence. If you're a collector trying to assemble a complete vintage Blackbird 002 system, this is an essential part of it. Apologies but the original Razer mouse has already been sold. If you miss this one, good luck finding another -- it may be a long wait.
