Description: A one-of-a kind handmade teakwood pencil holder and catchall crafted by the famous mid-20th century woodworker Emil Milan. Milan is known for his bowls and bird sculptures but these pencil holders of which he did a few variations are exceedingly rare. This one is sculpted in solid teak, a higher value material than Milan's usual use walnut. The bowl is signed on the bottom and in excellent condition with no significant chips, cracks, or other damage. Measures 7” long x 6” wide x 3.75” tall
