Rare Dr. Pepper Aluminum Stadium Carrier - Holds 24 Bottles

Description: This is a fantastic, relatively rare Dr. Pepper stadium carrier. The body is made of aluminum, and is divided to hold 24 bottles. The top edge of each compartment is lined with a roller spring to help hold bottles in place and reduce the chance of breakage. "Drink Dr. Pepper - Good For Life!" is embossed on each long side. It is also embossed with "Property of Dr. Pepper bottling Company, Winchester, VA." I was unable to find many examples of these carriers. I would estimate it was manufactured in the 1950s, and if someone knows otherwise, I would appreciate that information. Overall the carrier is in good, usable condition. The rivets are all solid. There is some corrosion, especially along the edges inside and outside where the condensation would gather. There are drainage holes under each compartment. The "springs" all still roll. This Dr. Pepper beverage carrier is 17.25" long, 11.75" wide, and 3.75" high. This drink caddy or carrier is a unique addition to any collection of Dr. Pepper advertising and accessories, or indeed for any advertising or soda memorabilia collector. -----Items are sold as is.
