Description: Art Nouveau French Perfumed Powder Box by L.T. PIVER, Paris, France, from the early 1900s. The scent is called Poudre Azurea. L. T. Piver's Azurea was launched in 1897. It was created by Jacques Rouché, Pierre Armigeant, and Russian born chemist Georges Darzens. The cardboard box has a very pleasing shape and features an embossed blue, green and gold paper covering. The colors are fabulous and this antique box is in very fine antique condition. (see photos of all sides.) The inside is clean and there is one tiny notch on the inside lip as pictured. The original labels are still intact on the bottom and the box sold for 79 cents over 100 years ago. It has been safely kept and is in very fine condition for age. Very Hard to find in this wonderful condition. Measures 4" by 3.25" and stands 1.5" in height.
