Description: Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Here we have rare grape mold made by I.W.Cory, a Trenton, New Jersey potter who was in business from 1867 – 1870. Molds can rarely be attributed to a specific potter; this mold is unique to Cory. The inside of the mold is finely detailed with grape leaves and a bunch of grapes. The mold measures 5 ½” in diameter by 2 ½” in height and is in original mint condition with no damage or repairs. Lisa McAllister includes this mold in her book "Collector's Guide to Yellow Ware Book 1" on page 93. This is a very desirable piece of yellow ware any collector would be pleased to own.
