It was recorded in New Your and released on 17 May 1971 by Apple Records. It includes "Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey", which was McCartney's first number 1 hit in America without the Beatles. Along with McCartney's Wings Over America and Tug of War albums, Ram was issued in the US on compact disc on 18 January 1988. THIS COPY is a reissue CD copy on the Capitol label (see Notes, below).
