Description: PS3 for sale, model CECHA01. This is a backwards compatible model, it will play PS1, PS2 and PS3 games. I've swapped out the original 90nm RSX (gpu) for a more reliable 40nm RSX from a later slim model. Resistor and voltage mods are done as well as syscon training. Voltage mod is tested and confirmed .95v as per spec. This is known as the Frankenstein mod. The original NEC Tokin capacitors have been replaced with Tantilizers. This console has the APS226 power supply, 19 blade fan and a 500gb hdd. It's been stress tested and all disc types checked. The RSX and CELL (cpu) IHS heat spreaders have been removed to replace the thermal paste on the chip dies, I use MX4. New thermal pads also applied Console was cleaned inside, wiped down outside. Please note this is a used console, it does have signs of use and imperfections. I've tried to include the best pics of condition but it can be tough with the PS3s glossy surface. There's some scuffs and scratches around, some on on the top. This listing is for the PS3 console only. No cords, controllers or accessories included.
