Pink Roses on 8” Leaf Bowl by Haviland & Co of Limoges France “Julia” c.1975

Description: This is a lovely porcelain bowl with handle in the shape of a leaf by Haviland of Limoges France. It is absolutely lovely decorated with pink roses and leaves scattered artistically on the inside and outside of the dish in the pattern named Julia. It is called a leaf bowl or dish, but looking down into it, rather than leaf veins, it looks more like impressed petals. The bowel is tall, and looking at it from the side, it gives me more of the impression of an open flower. So pretty! The green backstamp under the glaze is Haviland Limoges France, and the decorating stamp on top of the glaze is Haviland Limoges, with the pattern name of Julia. This pattern was made between 1975-1988 according to Replacements.com. It is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or crazing, and I felt all around the intricate edges too, but there are no hiding chips there either. Looking at an angle to the lights, there are no utensil arks in the glaze. The dish is about 2 & 5/8 inches tall, 8 & 1/4 inches long, about 7 inches wide, and holds 1 & 1/4 cups easily. It weighs about 9 ounces. The edges are so irregular, I measured between the longest points. Please zoom in on the pictures and see the 360 degree video for a closer look.
