Description: As shown in the first photo, the Petoskey is about 2 3/4” x 2 3/8” x 1 3/8” thick. The weight is about 8 oz. All photos were taken indoors and the entire stone is shown. In 1965 the State stone of MI became the Petoskey. The stone is fossilized rugose coral Hexagonaria. If you have any specific request for natural or polished Petoskey Stones please send me a message. I do not use anything to enhance the color or anything else regarding my stones. They are collected and left natural or are ground and polished. I have been asked what I use to polish my stones; the answer is Fabulustre.
