Description: This is one of the very small miniature Pelargoniums from Southern Africa. Fluffy green leaves and upright small pink flowers make the plant look delicate. This is a very slow growing plant. Most of my plants are 6-10 years old from seed even though they are only 6 inches high. In actuality, this is one of the toughest plants. It will only grow from late fall to late spring, then go dormant. Water lightly when it is dormant, too much and it will rot. My plants survive full California summer sun with little water and look dead until fall.This true species from South Africa will not withstand freezing.
