They would leave hotels and enter and exit venues separately quite often - most times in different limos or shuttle busses. Most times, with friends, family or management with them. Approaching them for an autograph as part of the crew was extremely frowned upon and could get you into a lot of trouble and/or even fired. I had to pick my opportunities very wisely and it often involved a friend with promotion, production / band management and an expensive bottle of bourbon as a thank you. In that time, I amassed a collection of items like no other and am now offering a small portion of my items to the public.
