Pair 1974-S Eisenhower Proof & MS Silver Dollars in OGP -- GREAT SILVER COINS!

Description: For sale is a gorgeous pair of the 1974-S Eisenhower GSA Proof & Mint State Silver Dollars in their original government packaging. The Eisenhower Dollar, also known as "Ike Dollars," were minted between 1971 & 1978 and was the first US silver dollar minted since 1935! The GSA Dollar (also known as the "Brown Ikes") was a program where the General Services Administration from the government instructed the US Mint to place the coins in special promotional packaging to sell the coins as collector's items. This coin is still in the original GSA Mint packaging, which is the brown presentation box with a simulated wood grain finish--total 70's throwback décor!The Mint State Ike Dollar, also known as the "Blue Ikes" because they came packaged in a fancy blue envelope, and in the plastic cells next to the coin is a blue plastic disc from the Mint. These coins were also only available by the Mint between '71 and '74, so these are the last two ones of issue! . The coin is in the original Mint packaging, including the envelope and the informational card insert from the Mint. The coin is sealed in the plastic cells right from the Mint. Both coins are 40% silver.As you can see from the pics both coins are in awesome shape. They have the same gorgeous mint luster as if it was fresh from the mint. The Proof coin has some minor ghost toning which is very common with proof coins from this era, especially for the 1974's. Otherwise they have no major blemishes, and even the original packaging is in great shape.
