Description: Owasco Tool Co., New York, circa 1875. This plane is similar to a full round or a fluting plane with integral depth stop fence on one side. As described in The Wooden Plane, page 191. This great plane is marked 'No. 156' on the heel along with the size of '3/4'. The plane iron measures for a 3/4 inch profile and the plane does not look like it was modified from a larger round plane. G+ condition. Plane iron and wedge appear to be original.
