Description: Original WWI US Canteen Cover Manufactured by L.C.C. & Company Dated August 1918 Unfortunately, there is a large stain or spill that happen sometime in its history. Despite this, the cover is soft and shows very little to no use at all. Both Snaps and hardware are super clean and operate like new. Rear hook mount is solid with no seperation. Fitment of a cup and canteen are very good. US and maker marks are very bold. There are possible unit and/or laundry numbers as well as Soldier initials stamped on the inside of the left flap.
