Description: From an estate: Old hand carved wooden Mexican storage trunk / chest, with folk art painted tropical designs of birds and flowers. Black metal straps. Solid wood. Measures about 29 inches long, 16.5 inches deep, and 18 inches at the tallest point. The front latch and strap are missing. There is evidence that feet were once affixed underneath, but they are also no longer present. Someone scribbled on the inside in one area with an ink pen. Stamped “Made in Mexico” underneath. Exact vintage not known. In our research, we could find no other like it. Please review all listing photos and message me with any additional questions.
