Description: Offered here is a vintage drink glass. One side pictures a University of Oklahoma Sooners football helmet and reads, "1979 ORANGE BOWL...O.U. 31 - NEBRASKA 24...'78 HEISMAN TROPHY - BILLY SIMMS...'78 OUTLAND TROPHY - GREG ROBERTS." The 1979 Orange Bowl was played in January 1, but it was actually the culmination of the 1978 season. This glass was made in early 1979. The opposite side is marked, "COACH BARRY SWITZER" and has the upcoming 1979 football schedule. The glass is just over 5 inches tall. It is 2 & 3/4 inches wide, at the top. The condition is EXCELLENT. NO chips or cracks. The printing is still nice. (I'm not sure this was ever used.) There is a small raised bump on the top rim, clearly a small factory flaw.
