Description: This is a delightful framed print reproduction by the famous American artist, Norman Rockwell (1894-1978). The wooden frame measures approximately 11” x 13” and the print, under glass, measures approximately 7 ½” x 9 ½”. This Rockwell print is titled, “Adventurers Between Adventures” and is a selection from Rockwell’s Four Seasons Series. Embossed on an ivory canvas-like background is the image of a lazy summer day with a young boy sleeping on the grass with his trusted beagle sitting next to him and a wooden fishing pole and tin pail lying nearby. The unique technique of embossing the image makes this picture stand out and appear much more realistic. The solid wooden frame is dark brown and features a metal hanger on the back. The print is marked on the front with the Norman Rockwell stamp and in fine print, “SPC U.S.A. 1978”. The frame has some damage but the glass and print are in very good condition.
