Description: TRON Yellow Lightcycle with FigureNECA 20th Anniversary Collector's Edition This is a new and unopened TRON Lightcycle toy vehicle. This was released by NECA in 2002 to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the original Tron theatrical release. These are replicas of the original TOMY action figure and vehicle lineup from 1982. Limited to 5000 pieces. Includes "black" Tron figure, made of translucent smoke gray plastic instead of the usual purple translucent plastic.Light cycles were originally from an ENCOM videogame made by Kevin Flynn, simply called Light Cycles. When Flynn himself was forced to personally participate in a light cycle match, he was able to use his intimate knowledge of the game to exploit a vulnerability in the code and allow his team to escape the Light Cycle Grid. Flynn's team still used their light cycle even after their escape, but Flynn and Ram's were destroyed when they were shot by a tank. Tron's light cycle managed to avoid being shot however, and he drove the light cycle towards the I/O Tower.
