DESCRIPTION Neal Morgan - “To The Breathing World” Neal Morgan Records NM001 (Stereo) from 2009. Hard to find Original 2009 First Pressing Experimentsl / Psychedelic / Freak Folk / Pop / Rock album from Neal Morgan best known as a member of Golden Shoulders and Brightblack and for playing on some of Joanna Newsom albums. This is billed as a “Drum And Voice Album” and no real credits are given but there are a bunch of “Thank you” mentions which include people like Joanna Newsom, Bill Callahan, Sam Coomes, Shearwater, Ethan Gicker, Ryan Donnelly, Cassie McGettigan and others who may or may not have actually played on the album but do give an idea of where the music is coming from. In the Original Shrinkwrapped Cover with NO Cutouts or promo markings. There is a sticker on the shrink that says that a Digital Download is included but I guess that was already taken. CONDITION The Sleeve is in its Original Shrink Wrap and in great shape. There is maybe a touch of slight corner softening but otherwise pretty much perfect. Super solid with no splits, stains, tears, cutouts, writing, etc. and would easily rate Near Mint. The Vinyl is in pristine Glossy condition looking barely played. If you look closely you can spots some light sleeve scuffs but still very close to New condition and easily Near Mint all. The labels are also Near Mint as is the Insert Sheet. If I provide Play Grades it is done as a courtesy but I only guarantee the Visual Grade. If you are not familiar with this grading system (or even if you think you are!), please check it out before bidding. I have summarized the important (i.e. I think everyone knows what Mint means) points below in Goldmine's words: Very Good Plus (VG+): Record surfaces may show some slight signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are OK. Very Good (VG): Surface noise will be evident upon playing,... Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as will light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound. I stand by my grades but would like us to be on the same page so no problems arise. I have been selling Vintage Vinyl for over twenty years on the net and I can count the returns I've had on one hand so I believe my grading is fair and accurate. One important note, I try to grade to these Goldmine guides as best as I can understand and apply them. This gives us both a written standard to go by rather than having to guess. But.... it also means that I don't issue refunds over differences of opinion in grading i.e. "That's not MY idea of a VG record!" - I don't know what your standards are and, as such, can't grade to them.
