Description: here is a vintage "EAST COAST IT'S QUICKER BY RAIL" art print. this vintage framed print is a "DOROTHEA SHARP" artwork print titled "EAST COAST", and features 3 young girls playing at the beach with sailboats in the foreground. this was an original railway advertising poster in England many years ago. the side of poster print states "NRM- NATIONAL RAILWAY MUSEUM", the bottom left corner also says "PUBLISHED BY THE LONDON NORTHEASTERN RAILWAY". the title of advertising print is "EAST COAST IT'S QUICKER BY RAIL" underneath is "PRINTED IN ENGLAND". the right side corner has a large logo of "LNER" and under this is "CHORLEY & PICKERSGILL LTD. LITHOGRAPHERS LEEDS". please note this vintage print is in a cheap plastic edged frame with scotch tape at corner edges. the print is folded over at the sides, as you can see from last 2 pictures. the thin plastic film frame has some light scratch and brush marks on it that can be seen at certain angles. there appears to be no damage to print other then the sides that were folded to fit in the frame. print in frame measures 20 1/4" x 16 1/4". please view all pics and read full item condition.
