Description: MYSTIC CONNECTICUT LIVING MARITIME SEAPORT MUSEUM POSTCARD Wooden Whaleship In 1941, Mystic Seaport acquired the Charles W. Morgan, the country’s last wooden whaleship. After an extensive restoration that began in 2008, the Charles W. Morgan sailed on a ceremonial 38th Voyage. The voyage ended in Boston, Massachusetts, where the Charles W. Morgan was berthed next to USS Constitution, the only American ship older than the Morgan. Along the way more than 68,000 people visited the ship. The Morgan sailed 37 voyages as an active whaleship. This is a nice, vintage postcard. Please view pictures carefully, checking corners, sides, front and back. Message before purchasing if you have any questions.
