This copy was owned by the nephew of Butch Cassidy and has his signature. Butch's best friend, Elzy Lay was imprisoned in New Mexico under his alias William McGinnis. McGinnis or Lay was pardoned by Otero who attended his trial and felt he did receive a fair trial. Butch had gone to South America with Sundance as Lay was in prison at the time. A fun collectible. The dust jacket is a facsimile dust jacket. There is also a bookplate from a previous owner.
