Description: Another beautiful ring designed by Michael Valitutti, a gem expert and fabulous designer. The ring is part of his Gems en Vogue collection that he creates with Sterling Silver Palladium. This means that instead of using the usual metal mix of copper with 925 sterling silver, the sterling is mixed with a more expensive metal - palladium. It's still sterling silver and is hallmarked 925 inside the band, but because no copper is mixed into this silver, it does not tarnish and is as strong as 14K gold. (It is the copper in the regular sterling silver mixture that causes tarnishing.) Michael uses 18K gold embracing over his silver to give his rings a two-tone look. The beautiful ring is filled with multi-color genuine round faceted sapphires. If I counted correctly there are about 40 sapphires in the ring, each about 2mm. The buckle detail is gold enhanced as you can see in the photos.The widest part on the sides of the ring measures 5/8 of an inch and tapers to a comfortable 1/4 inch on the bottom. I believe this style has been sold out a very long time ago, so I don't think you can get it anywhere else unless someone like me is selling one. This ring cannot be sized by anyone but Michael Valitutti's office. It is a size 5, suitable for a slender hand with a size 5 finger and will fit a size 5 to a 5 & 1/4, or can be worn as a pinky ring on a larger hand, so be sure you can wear a size 5 before you purchase it. I'm just selling some pieces from my own collection that I don't wear anymore or never had the opportunity to wear. My goal is to trim down my collection now that I do not work anymore and I have less occasions to wear dressy items.
