Description: This is an OFFICIAL AMERICAN LEAGUE (Brown) Baseball signed by 20x All Star, 7x World Series Champion, 3x AL MVP, 1956 Triple Crown winner, 1956 AL Batting Champion, 4x AL Homerun Leader, 1956 AL RBI Leader and former Yankees outfielder MICKEY MANTLE in blue pen. He added the inscription "No.7" under his name. The signature rates a 9/10. The ball is lightly to moderately toned and spotted throughout. Please look at pictures for further detail. Mantle's cards, especially his 1952 Topps, are extremely popular and valuable among card collectors. Topps un-retired the #7 in 2006 to use exclusively for cards of Mantle made with each year's design.
