Description: Very old hand painted festive Oaxaca mexican drip ware decorative pottery bowls. They are made of red clay with a white glaze then hand painted with brilliant cobalt blue and festive orange flowers with green leaves. Each are merely marked "Mexico" on the back. The condition is good for age. Plus keep in mind that these are naturally on the rustic side as they are made in homes of small villages and fired in makeshift kilns. May have some color loss and glazing loss associated with age. May have rough spots, light crazing, glaze chipping or stilt marks from where they sat on stilts in the kiln. Does NOT Affect Beauty. Paint TYPE Unknown Due to the age, the glaze on these pieces is somewhat fragile, and we would not recommend using it with food.
