The 2002 Across America Series are a series of various Matchbox vehicles with exclusive deco's, based on US states. They were designed to celebrate 50 years of the Matchbox brand. Each car came with a small plastic license plate to represent each of the 50 States of America. There were an additional 4 vehicle exclusive, mail in, models for 4 countries and another 4 models released worldwide.
