Description: OO9/HOn30 Malcolm Moore Petrol Locomotive 3d Printed model body to suit Tsugawa Yokou TU-16A chassis 9mm gauge. CHASSIS NOT INCLUDED. This model has been 3D Printed in Resin to allow many fine details which create an accurate depiction of the real life prototype and will look at home on any industrial or regional layout. The Malcom Moore petrol locomotives were 2 foot narrow gauge locomotives built for the Australian Army during World War Two, used for transporting troops and munition. After the war they found many uses across Australia and further in sugar cane plantations, mines and more. Supports have been removed from the print, but may need some sanding in areas to remove blemishes. Model is grey and unpainted. This model is designed to represent 2ft narrow gauge in HO/OO scale and run on 9mm gauge track. Due to size the size constraints of the chassis, the scale of the model is somewhere between HO and OO, however I believe it does not look out of place in either scale. The photographs supplied form part of the description of the item. One such photograph shows the item placed on 9mm guage (009 scale) track for a sense of scale. CHASSIS NOT INCLUDED. But can be purchased from: https://www.plazajapan.com/4957265140544/This model is designed to fit the Tsugawa Yokou TU-16A chassis, which should press into the underside of the model, however small amounts of sanding may be required for a secure fit. Please note the Tsugawa Yokou TU-16A chassis uses a 3V motor.
