Description: Listing is for a Vintage 1998 Corgi Gift Set Mack Truck and Tank Transporter, and Corgi 903 Chieftain Tank , Die-cast Metal, 1:50 Scale, Excellent Condition. Mack tank transporter is used to haul Chieftain Tank. Chieftain Tank turret rotates 360 degrees, and cannon raises and lowers. Cannon shoots red plastic shells (7 provided). Chieftain Tank's hard plastic trends move smoothly. Chieftain Tank dimensions are 5” Long (7” long to end of cannon) x 2 1/4” Wide x 1 7/8” High. Mack Truck and Tank Transporter wheels turn smoothly. Mack Truck bonnet opens and closes with the push of RED button on side. Front bars on bonnet are good. Trailer`s detachable rear axle that holds in position like it should. Please note this is the only Corgi Gift Set Mack Truck and Tank Transporter, and Corgi 903 Chieftain Tank listed on Ebay. There is nothing broken, cracked, or missing from Mack Truck and Tank Transporter or Chieftain Tank. Mack truck and Transporter and Chieftain tank are in excellent condition with only minor paint chips (in my opinion). I am downsizing and listing/selling on EBay some of my personal collection. Since Mack Truck and Transporter and Chieftain Tank no longer has its original box, it will be wrapped careful with bubble wrap, packing material, and mailed in a new white corrugated double walled reinforced cardboard box with a flap that opens and closes easily. Chieftain was main battle tank of United Kingdom during 1960s-1990s. A development of Centurion tank, Chieftain tank introduced supine (reclining) driver position to British design allowing a heavily sloped hull with reduced height. A new powerpack and improved transmission gave it higher speed than Centurion tank despite being heavier (55 tons) due to major upgrades to armor protection (14” turret armor) and weapons armament with 120 mm cannon with two machine guns; this allowed it to replace both Conqueror and Centurion tanks while performing their roles effectively. It remained in service until replaced by British Challenger I, which shared many the Chieftain tank's features.
