Description: Vintage 1930’s - 1979 MACK Truck “LONG EAR” BULLDOG Hood Ornament Patent # 87931 Design and MACK Script Emblem Nameplate Mounted on Wood. • per Mack information, the “ long ear” bulldog was used from the 1930’s through 1979. After 1979 a redesigned shorter ear version was used. • this is a handmade mount, not professionally made • the MACK “bulldog” hood ornament and MACK nameplate script are from an actual truck • this was made for an individual and displayed as a wall mount • it has 2 holes drilled through the wood from being mounted • MACK script nameplate is easily removable • this is not a perfectly made, mass produced display piece. It is an imperfect handmade piece. • the wood plaque is approximately 13 5/8” long x 5 9/16” high. The bulldog adds approximately 2 1/2” in height and protrudes outward approximately 6”.
