An absolutely fantastic Reginaphone Style 240, in a curved mahogany console cabinet, incorporating the finest engineering Regina had to offer in it's day together with unique and fashionable styling to make it a showpiece in the finest of homes, highlighted by the hand-carved lions on either side of the horn section. Plays 15.5" disks, which can be conveniently stored in the lower section of the cabinet. 12 new disks will be furnished for your listening pleasure. You will be amazed at the range and depth of sound. Overall dimensions are: 22" wide x 20" deep x 49" high. The cabinet has been refinished to the highest of standards and shows "as-new". The restored double-comb mechanism, with "short" bed plate, a Regina invention that was a vast improvement over earlier "long" versions, is without damaged teeth or damper noise. It produces pitch-perfect music that is extremely pleasant and perfectly in tune. The phonograph components, as originally supplied by Columbia, are in perfect order, without pitting, corrosion, or other so-called "patina". The internal spruce wood phonograph horn is accessed by opening the sliding doors at the front.
