Description: A gorgeous Liberty of London all-silk scarf with a beautiful swirling Art Nouveau print in shades of pink, burgundy, rust, aqua, and blue. This pattern is called Ianthe and while the original design is from 1902, it was first printed for Liberty in 1967: https://www.libertylondon.com/uk/features/design-and-living/archive-ianthe-collection.html/archive-ianthe-collection.html. This scarf measures a generous 34" by 34" and the silk is just gorgeous - buttery soft and silky with a beautiful subtle sheen. I love the colourway: soft pinks and blues, dotted with rust and edged with dark red. Condition: excellent. It has a couple of slight worn spots in the edging and two tiny holes, most likely where a hang tag was attached. See photos. Please note: all items are vintage and thus most have some wear and flaws. I do my best to examine each item carefully and photograph/describe all flaws, but it's possible I may miss something. I wash or dry clean some items before selling, as well as make some minor repairs; where this is the case, it is noted. My home contains a cat, and items are kept away from her, but if you have a serious cat allergy you may want to take this into account.
