Description: This is an opportunity to own a very scarce/rare piece of history minted between 457 and 474 AD during the reign of Leo I. It features a portrait of Leo I with legend on the obverse and Verina with globe/cross and sceptre on the reverse. This is not a common coin and is RIC X 714. Grading is subjective. In my opinion, this coin is VF/CH CH VF. Please look at the high resolution photos to make your opinion. This coin shows more detail than most specimens of this type. The legends are bold, Verina shows a lot of detail, and I believe there is additional detail on Leo I's portrait under the patina.
