I wanted to build an electric guitar that was symmetrical so either a right-handed or a left-handed player could wear and play it. Of course, the lefty would be someone like Dick Dale or Albert King who played the guitar left-handed strung right. I modeled the double cutaway body after a Fender Stratocaster but with mirror image side to side. The cutaways and sculpted body contours match exactly on the front and back sides. I put four Dunlop StrapLoks on to accommodate holding the guitar either way. The jack plug is mounted on the middle of the tail side and the volume knob is centered as well. The surface mounted pickup is the gold foil S grill Alnico V single coil 6K. Nice quality smooth Hardtail bridge. The neck is unique in the fact that it's Gibson specs with 24.75" scale and 12" Radius, but Fender shaped headstock (the only thing that's not symmetrical on the guitar). Fender "F" neckplate.
