Description: This is a super Vintage Tramp Art Handmade Clock Case, fitted with a quartz movement clock. The case is made up of thousands of matchsticks that have been used to form this fantastic and rare to find lovely looking piece. The case is in good condition but does have some age-related wear, which includes a small number of missing matchsticks to the edges / trim. The clock itself is untested as it requires an LR1 battery which we don’t have, however, the contacts in the battery compartment are a little worn so may require some attention or replacing. There’s a metal bracket that attaches to the back of the movement to keep it in place, which is missing one of the two screws, but the other one does hold the clock face in place ok. The top of the case removes to reveal a storage compartment and there’s two drawers to the front. Overall, the case measures approximately 31cm wide by 16cm dep at the base and 35cm high.
