Description: LARGE and heavy German bisque head baby doll....c. 1915-1920....clearly marked "Armand Marseille Germany 990"....approximately 21-22" in length....great condition....bisque head is excellent with no damage, only a very few, very minor wig pulls....blue glass sleep eyes appear original, however have been re-waxed and reset in new plaster....head, torso, and legs appear original to each other, however the arms appear replaced, perhaps from a 1930's composition doll....there has been a repair to one of the leg sockets ( photo 17)....stringing is very loose and I would prefer to take this doll apart for packing purposes....I'm including the vintage (not original) blonde mohair wig (no pate) that came with the doll when I purchased it....it is well-made and fits, however received a bad haircut at some point in the past....from a non-smoking and pet-free home....please study all photos, feel free to ask questions, and be sure to check out my other interesting antique auctions!
