It doesn't look like a toy, it is a first class well made item. Made for the Riddell Company the company that makes the helmets. That alone tells you this is not junk. However, there are some flaws. The shade is starting to crack on the inside and the color of the shade is starting to fade to a yellowish. The helmet has been touched up by the quality control at the factory. We have had it since new. I believe we got this lamp in 2001 as a gift. Buyer pays shipping and packaging.
