The letters are lithographic prints in script on laid paper. The six erotic etchings, frontispiece, and colophon are all signed under the name of Lukas van Hoger of Amsterdam, who is believed to have been the German artist Fritz Janowski. This copy is number 32 of 60, although Hayn & Gotendorf attribute only 40 copies.
