Description: Beautiful 1962 Holy Bible, Saint Joseph New Catholic Edition Illustrated. Has the Old Testament in Confraternity-Douay Version and New Testament in Confraternity Edition. Was originally presented to a Catholic Sister for Christmas 1965. I don't know how to tell if the outer cover is leather or vinyl, but based on comparisons to other listings, it looks like leather to me. I can confirm that this tome is very good condition, having been protected over the years by a decorative vinyl dust cover, which itself does show handling and wear. There is a drip mark on the outside of the pages at the top of the Bible, which I tried to show in one of the photos, and there are some visible scratches on outside red parts of the pages, also shown in the photos. This Bible also includes a Family Record section for genealogy, which has never been filled in. The inside pages are very clean and undamaged, and the binding is quite tight.
