Description: This is an extra receiver for a mars 400 pro pair. You can pair up to two receivers to on Mars Pro 400 transmitter so if you already have a pair of them you can buy this unit and then you will be able to have 2 receivers at once, very useful. These are solid little units that perform as well as Teradeks that cost three times as much. There are many different ways to power these units, they take L series sony batteries and external power that can be provided from a wall adapter or a D tap or similar battery connector. Also they can be powered via USBC. Generally I'll try to have the receiver powered via AC and have the sony battery the unit as a backup. You will get several hours performance on a 4000mh L series battery. In my experience the transmitters use the battery faster than the receivers. Tx and Rx have both HDMI and SDI connectors so you can use the pair as a cross converter also. For example if you have an SDI feed from a camera you can cross convert it using these units to put the feed into an HDMI monitor. I have multiple units.
